The Comission* discussed the draft response to the White House request for NRC views on recomendations of the Presidential Comission on TMI-2, attached to the Acting Director, OPE's memorandum of November 8.
The Comission requested:
1.
that a letter requesting ACRS views of the Kemeny Commission recomendation on the " strengthened" role of the ACRS be prepared;

(The letter was sent on 11/9/79).
2.
that the draft response be revised to reflect Commission views and coments.
(OPE)
(This was provided to the Comission on the morning of 11/9/79).
- Comissioner Kennecy was not in attendance.
