DISCUSSION OF LEGAL ASPEC T OF USE OF EPICOR II AT TMI, 3:05 P.M., WEDNESDAY, OC70BER 10,1979, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, D. C. OFFICE (CLOSED TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE - EXEMPTION 10)
The Commission discussed with the staff the legal aspects of the use of the EPICOR II system at Three Mile Island and requested that:
1.
the General Counsel contact the Chairman of CEQ and discuss the issues of segmentation an.d separate Environmental Impact Statements that may be necessitated by activities at Three Mile Island Unit 1; (OGC)
(Subsequently, discussions were held on October li and October 15).
2.
the General Counsel draft a suitable Order for Commission review, as outlined by the Comission in its discussion of this matter.
(Subsequently, the Comission approved the Order on October 16, 1979).
