The Commission continued its discussion of enforcement actions proposed by the Director, Office of Inspection and Enforcement.

Although the Commission, by a vote of 4-l*,

agreed that TMI enforcement actions should be taken in the near term, a collegial position could not be reached on which portions of the I&E proposed enforcement action should be implemented immediately.

The Commission determined to give further consideration of this matter at a later date.

(A subsequent meeting was held on October 25, 1979).
