POWER AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT DOCKET N0. 50-333 ATTACHMENT TO LER 79-089/01T-0 Page 1 of 1 The Architect-Engineer notified the Plant Staff that three supports, 1:11-8 in the Standby Liquid Control-(SLC) System, H66-33 in the Containment Vent and Purge System, and H76-61 in the Fire Protection System, were in-operable based upon the criterion of the 14 August 1979 7etter lifting the Show Cause Order of 13 March 1979.

In accordance with the 14 August 1979 letter, analysis was performed with these supports removed from the system.

This analysis showed the SLC cnd Fire Protection Systems to remain operable.

Those portions of the containment vent and purge system piping associated with H66-33 remained inoperable. Modifications to H66-33 were completed within the seven day time period required by the 14 August 1979 letter and the event did not represent a significant hazard to the public health and safety.
