e WASHINGTON. D. C. 20555 June 14, 1979 NOTE FOR:
J. T. Larkins, Chief Program Coordination Branch Administration & Resource Control Staff
SUBJECT:
NRC/TMI SPECIAL INVESTIGATION GROUP REQUEST FOR INFORMATION CONCERNING TMI-2 ACTIVITIES Your memo of June 8 was received in my office today (June 14,1979).
The following is a brief description of the work performed in the NRC Administrative Trailer #18, under the supervision of John Mc0 scar Chief, Administrative Branch, Region I.
My tour of duty was from May 14 through May 21, 1979.
Receipt, logging and dispatching of mail -- primarily Rapifax items from Headquarters and the Region I office Typing drafts and finals for the many professionals on loan to TMI from NRR, IE (Headquarters) and from the regional offices Answering telephones and carrying messages to the IE, NRR, XER0X trailers Assembling forms with pertinent data which had to be completed for staff members initially reporting for duty at TMI Occasionc1 contact with the Governor's Office via Facsimile madine located in the IE trailer My duty hours were from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The work was varied and interesting. The NRC staff, despite the confusion which invariably surrounds temporary and emergency operations, were professional, good humored and highly committed.
I was particularly impressed by Richard McGaughy and John Mc0 scar.
