This refers to the telephone conversation held with Mr. Enrold Coleman of your staff and J, R. Met ger of my staff on April 28, 1972, in which Monsanto Research Co7 oration was asked to provide the AEC with ce:-tain infomation concerning the plutoniun-beryllium (PuBe) neutron sources manufactured and distributed co=ercially by Monsanto under License No.

I SIM-567 Specifically, ve are requesting the nsmes and addresses of each of the PuBe source recipients, the model and serial nunber of each source transferred, the dates of the transfer, and the quantity of plutonium transferred. As explained during the telephone conversation, we plan to contact the recipients of these sources in order to gather infor=ation on the results of leak tests perfomed on the sources. We vould like to have the info =ation as soon as possible. As Mr. Cole-nn requested, the info =ation provided us vill be treated as proprietary.
