Dear Mr. Knighton:
The referenced letter provided you a copy of our spray pond monitoring program described in our procedure 73AC-9SPOl, "Spray Pond Piping Integrity Verification."
In addition to the monitoring outlined in that procedure<
APS will conduct a reexamination of the Diesel Generator Cooling and Essential Cooling Water Systems on PVNGS Units 1 and 2.
The scope of this reexamination is proposed as follows:

Excessive Pitting of Heat Exchanger Tube or Tube Sheets o
Indicators of Stress Corrosion Cracking Co nents to be Examined o
Diesel Generator Jacket Cooling Water Heat Exchanger o
Essential Cooling Water Heat Exchanger o
Accessable Piping at Heat Exchangers Examination Schedule o
Unit 2 Train A or B Hot Functional Test (approximately late June 1985) Visual Exam o
