to the 81 Core Protection Calculator failed.

This provided erroneous signals to HI-PWR, TMLP trips, local ower densit and thermal ower calculations.

Action was taken in accordance with table 3.3-1'f T.S. 3/4.3.1.

The power supply was replaced

and the RPS was, returned to normal.

The RPS was in 2 of '3 coincidence for four hours.

A similar occurrence was reported in LER 79-25.

This is a dual 0-18V supply.

Failure occurred on one side, dropping voltage to 0.

The cause of the failure was a bent fuse cl,ip to the negative supply which did not allow for sufficient contact.

The failed power supply was repaired NA P.L.
