Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter provides Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station's (PNPS) reply to Notice of Violation; EA 030 (Reference 1). This information is provided pursuant to the provisions of Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 2.201.

PNPS requests that the attachment to this letter, which contains Security-Related Information, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1).

In a conversation on July 27, 2017, Entergy requested NRC Region 1 management provide a two (2) week extension of the due date for this letter. This extension was requested to allow Entergy to complete some related investigations. This extension was granted on July 28, 2017.
