C. 20555 RE: St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket No. 50-335 Completion of Review Qeneri~ttez36M The purpose of this letter is to confirm the completion of the NRC Generic Letter (GL) 96-01 review and procedure changes for St. Lucie Unit 1. In our initial response, L-96-88 dated April 18, 1996, to GL 96-01, Testing of Safety Related Logic Circuits, for the St. Lucie Plant, FPL committed to complete the requested review and procedure changes prior to start up from the Unit 1 Spring 1998 refueling/steam generator replacement outage (SL1-15). The start date of this outage was subsequently moved to the Fall 1997.
The GL 96-01 review and procedure changes for St. Lucie Unit 2 were completed during the Spring 1997 refueling outage (SL2-10). The NRC was notified of this action by FPL Letter L 135 on May 16, 1997.
This information is provided pursuant to the requirements of Section 182a of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and 10 CFR 50.54(f).
