Re: St. Lucie Unit 2 Docket No. 50-389 Proposed License Amendment Inde endent Safet En ineerin Grou In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, Florida Power 6 Light Company (FPL) submits herewith a request to amend Facility Operating License NPF-16 for St. Lucie Unit 2.

The proposed license amendment is intended to revise the Independent Safety Engineering Group (ISEG) reporting and administrative requirements. to this letter includes the proposed Technical Specification changes. Attachment 2 is a Safety Analysis in support of the amendment. Attachment 3 is a "Determination of No Significant Hazards Consideration".

The proposed amendment has been reviewed by the St. Lucie Facility Review Group and the Florida Power 6 Light Company Nuclear Review Board.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of the proposed amendment is being forwarded to the State Designee for the State of Florida.
