held a telecon on March 28, 2017, to discuss and clarify the staffs requests for additional information (RAIs) concerning the Waterford Steam Electric Station, license renewal application, RAI B.1.1-3 (Agency Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML16320A002) and RAI B.1.1-3a (ADAMS Accession No. ML17018A359).

The telecon was useful in clarifying the intent of the staffs RAI regarding the Bolting Integrity Aging Management Program, specifically closure bolting where the piping systems contains air or gas for which leakage is difficult to detect. Waterford staff indicated that they understood the RAI and would providing an updated to their previous RAI responses (ADAMS Accession Nos. ML16350A450 and ML17054D239). provides a listing of the participants.
