NEXTERA - SEABROOK ASR [2016-SST-0548]
Dear Ms. Grinnell,
I have received a copy of your email to Mr. John Lamb dated July 28, 2016 (ML16211A112). I also received your below emails to me dated August 1, 2016 (ML16215A043), regarding NextEras letter dated June 6, 2016 (ML16161A534), that responded to the NRCs letter and Notice of Violation (NOV) dated May 6, 2016 (ML16127A155). I am writing to acknowledge receipt of these emails, which will be entered into ADAMS and will become public records.
We appreciate your questions. As I have communicated previously (ML16211A075), I have been compiling, into one list, questions received from you in emails to NRC staff since June 2016. I continue to coordinate with staff in the NRCs Region I and Headquarters offices in an effort to provide you with a consolidated response.
We will respond to your list questions when we are able and likely within 30 -60 days from the date (August 1, 2016) of your most recent incoming email. In addition to responding to you directly, we plan to file our response to you in ADAMS and make it publically available.
Thank you for the opportunity to respond. I trust this is fully responsive to your request.
Sincerely, Fred Bower USNRC Region I Branch Chief with Oversight Responsibility for Salem, Hope Creek and Seabrook l 2100 Renaissance Boulevard, STE 100, King of Prussia, PA 19406 l From:DeborahGrinnell[1]

NextEra - Seabrook ASR-Related Questions [2016-SST-0548]
Dear Ms. Grinnell,
Below, you asked: Where is the NextEra letter to you on their NRC violation in ML16182A031.
As I am sure you are aware, the NRC has a webpage devoted to Seabrook Concrete Degradation. A portion of this page provides links to publically available documents. The following web address will take you to this webpage and a comprehensive list of linked
3 publically available documents: http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/ops-experience/concrete-degradation.html#publicly.
Additionally, you can use ADAMS accession numbers (ML#) to retrieve publically available documents from ADAMS using the web based ADAMS search tool that can be accessed here: http://adams.nrc.gov/wba/.
The Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML16182A031 that you provided is for my letter to NextEra that acknowledged NextEras reply to the Notice of Violation (NOV) in NRC Inspection Report 0500443/2016008 (ML16127A155). In my acknowledgement letter, I thanked NextEra for their letter dated June 6, 2016 (ML16161A534) in response to the NRC letter (ML16127A155) and Notice of Violation (NOV) dated May 6, 2016. The NOV requested and required the previously referenced response from NextEra Energy Seabrook (NextEra).
Again, these letters can be retrieved from the two following web addresses: http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/ops-experience/concrete-degradation.html#publicly or http://adams.nrc.gov/wba/.
I trust this is fully responsive to your request.
Sincerely, Fred Bower USNRC Region I Branch Chief with Oversight Responsibility for Salem, Hope Creek and Seabrook l 2100 Renaissance Boulevard, STE 100, King of Prussia, PA 19406 l From:DebbieGmail[2]
