Dear Sir or Madam:

By Reference 1, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) submitted a request for amendment to the operating license for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS), Unit 1 which provided details about the impact of the additional time requested on the effectiveness of the overall cyber security program in the context of milestones already completed. By Reference 2, the NRC issued the following RAI.

The LAR provides details about the impact of the additional time requested on the effectiveness of the overall cyber security program in the context of milestones already completed. However, the information provided does not include information about Milestone 5; "Implement observation and identification of obvious cyber related tampering to existing insider mitigation rounds by incorporating the appropriate elements. Milestone 5 was scheduled for completion no later than December 31,2012. Please provide details about the impact of the additional time requested on the effectiveness of the overall cyber security program in the context of Milestone 5.

In addition to the information provided in Section 3, Criterion 4 of Attachment 1 to the above reference, Milestones 5,6, and 7 were completed by December 31,2012; therefore, there was no impact on these milestones due to the extension request.

The changes discussed in this submittal are clarifying or administrative and do not impact the conclusions of the no significant hazards consideration determination previously provided in the above reference.
