Docket Nos. 50-206, 50-361, and 50-362 Special Report San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 1, 2, and 3 Pursuant to Section 3.18.2, Action Statement B.1, of Appendix A, Technical Specifications, to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Unit 1 and Section 3.12.2, Action Statement 'a' of Appendix A, Technical Specifications to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-10 and NPF-15 for San Onofre Units 2 and 3, this submittal provides the required 30-day written Special Report for conditions identified during 1985 Annual Land Use Census.
The final Land Use Census results received by SCE on September 27, 1985 identifies locations which yield a calculated dose or dose commitment greater than the values currently being calculated in Specifications 4.6.3 and 4.11.2.3, for Units 1 and 2/3 respectively. Changes in calculated dose commitments are due to identification of a new occupational use of the land by State Park employees (life guards). This use, not reported to SCE in the preliminary Land Use Census report, affects the following locations:
- 1. San Onofre Surf Beach located in Sector P at 0.4 miles from Units 2/3 midpoint
- 2. San Onofre State Beach Campground located in Sector G at 0.8 miles from Units 2/3 midpoint 8511050156 851025 PDR ADOCK 05000206 S

October 25, 1985 These changes will be reflected in the Offsite Dose Calculation Manuals (ODCM's). Reports of the resulting changes to the ODCM's will be submitted to the NRC in accordance with Technical Specification 6.17.2.1 for San Onofre Unit 1 and Technical Specification 6.14.2.1 for San Onofre Units 2 and 3.
