KEWAUNEE POWER STATION - WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. ME7110)

Dear Mr. Heacock:

By letter dated August 30, 2011, you applied for an amendment to the Kewaunee Power Station (KPS) Renewed Operating License No. DPR-43. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications (TS) and current licensing basis to incorporate changes to the current radiological accident analysis of record. The amendment was also intended to fulfill a commitment made to the NRC in response to Generic Letter 2003-01, "Control Room Habitability," to submit proposed changes to the KPS TS based on the final approved version of Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF) Traveler No. TSTF-448, "Control Room Habitability."

Subsequently, by letter dated February 25, 2013, you withdrew the amendment request.

The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.

Sincerely, J!~.3~
