FW: ME7110 - Kewaunee Chi-over-Q - Acceptance Review RAL items - Conference calls of October 20, 25, 2011 A conference call took place on October 20, 2011, between personnel from Dominion and Kewaunee Power Station with USNRC personnel regarding a set of RAI items for which responses were needed within the acceptance review phase of TAC ME7110, identified by the short title Chi-over-Q The agenda for this conference call was to discuss for clarification the items requested by email message, as documented in ADAMS Accession Number ML11290A148.

Personnel involved in the October 20, 2011 phone call:

USNRC: Karl Feintuch, Donnie Harrison, Mark Blumberg Kewaunee: Tom Breene, Brian OConnell, John Holly, Jack Gadzala Innsbrook: Doug Gilliat, Alan Ford, Bill Kohlroser, Craig Sly Millstone: Bill Eakin (who works from Millstone but does a lot of fleet support work, in this case for Dominion and Kewaunee)

Donnie Harrison made clarifying remarks for RAI 7, Mark Blumberg spoke to RAI items 1 through 6.

Clarification was achieved for RAI items 1 through 7, less 2 and 4, which required further enquiry within the NRC by Mark Blumberg.

On this basis RAI items 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7 were deemed by consensus to be clear and to which the licensee would respond by 11/8/2011. A follow-on discussion would ensue when further information pertaining to RAI 2 or RAI 4 was available.

The follow-on discussion took place on October 25, 2011, pertaining to RAI 2.

USNRC: Karl Feintuch, Mark Blumberg Kewaunee: Tom Breene, Brian OConnell Innsbrook: Bill Kohlroser, Craig Sly, Alan Ford, Doug Gilliat, Bill Eakin (who is normally at Millstone, but was present at Dominions Innsbrook facility this week).

The agenda was a discussion of RAI 2 to clarify the expectations of its content and of an adequate response by the licensee. RAI 4 will be the topic of a follow-on call when Reviewer Blumberg makes the request.

As a result of the discussion, RAI 2 joined RAI items 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7 as being clear and to which the licensee would respond by 11/8/2011.
