US NRC Meeting - Limerick Generating Station License Renewal Application Good day Mr. Kerr, My name is Carmen Fells and I am a Project Manager within the Division of License Renewal at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). We spoke briefly today about the license renewal application that the NRC received on June 22nd from Exelon Generation Company for the Limerick Generating Station. If the license renewal request is approved this nuclear power plant will be allowed to operate 20 years beyond its current license expiration dates of October 2024 (Unit 1) and June 2029 (Unit 2). The three project managers working on the renewal application for the 1

Limerick Generating Station are Lisa Regner, Rob Kuntz, and I. We would like to extend an opportunity for officials within the townships and counties immediately surrounding Limerick to find out more about our license renewal process. NRC representatives plan to visit your area July 6th - 8th; however, these dates are tentative pending the responses we receive.

Each meeting will include a brief presentation of the NRCs process and a question and answer session. Please respond to this email and let us know if you and other officials within your municipality would like to attend this meeting. If so please also let us know all dates and time periods that you all are available within the period of July 6th - 8th. Feel free to email or call.

We look forward to hearing from you.
