By letter dated December 22, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML113570234), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submitted relief request HNP-ISI-RR-12. By letter dated January 9, 2012 (ADAMS Accession Number ML12004A062), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requested information in support of review of the relief request. Subsequently, SNC has performed a weld overlay of the subject piping. Therefore, by this letter, SNC withdraws relief request HNP ISI-RR-12.
