d/b/a Xcel Energy, to Document Control Desk, "Decommissioning Funding Status Reports," L-XE-11-007, dated March 28,201 1. (TAC NOS. ME5503, ME5522 and ME5523, ADAMS Accession No. MLI 10871121).

By letter to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) dated March 28, 201 1, NSPM submitted the 2010 Decommissioning Funding Status Reports for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP) and the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP), Units 1 and 2 (Reference).

On June 23, 201 1, NRC requested additional information to complete its review. Enclosure 1 provides NSPM's response. Enclosure 2 provides additional information on the specific factors used to derive the response to Question I(RAI#I). Enclosure 3 provides additional information on the custody and escrow fund described in response to Question 2 (RAI#2). Enclosure 4 provides information on the 2010 taxes paid to support the response to Question 3 (RAI#3).
