PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 EXTENSION REQUEST FOR SUBMITTAL OF THE REVISED SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 2004-02 (TAC NOS. MC4702, MC4703, AND MC4704)
Dear Mr. Edington:
By letter dated November 14, 2008 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML083370162), Arizona Public Service Company (APS) requested an extension related to the Revised Supplemental Response to Generic Letter (GL) 2004-02 concerning Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1,2, and 3. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) was requested to extend the response date to December 19, 2008.
This request was discussed on the phone between me, Donnie Harrison of NRC, and Russell Stroud of your staff on November 14, 2008. You were notified via email on November 14, 2008 (ADAMS Accession No. ML083250346), th.at NRC accepted the request for extension. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that your request for extension to provide the revised supplemental response to GL 2004-02 by December 19, 2008, is approved.
