CORRECTION LETTER (TAC NOS. MC9188 AND MC9189)

Dear Mr. Leidich:

By letter dated December 16, 2005, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, Commission) issued conforming Amendment No. 269 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-66, Amendment No. 151 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-73, Amendment No. 270 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3, and Amendment No. 137 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-58 for the approval of the direct transfers of the Facility Operating Licenses for Beaver Valley Power Station, Units 1 and 2 (BVPS 1 and 2), Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 (Davis-Besse), and Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 (Perry), to the extent held by Pennsylvania Power Company, Ohio Edison Company, OES Nuclear, Inc., the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, and the Toledo Edison Company, with respect to their current ownership interests, to FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corporation (FENGenCo), a new nuclear generation subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corporation.

It has come to our attention that the NRC inadvertently failed to include amendment numbers and implementation dates on pages of Appendix C to DPR-66 for BVPS 1, and Appendix D of NPF-73 for BVPS 2. Enclosed are corrected pages with the implementation dates and amendment numbers included for those pages. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. This administrative error does not change the immediate effectiveness of the conforming amendments nor the implementation date.
