PROFILE We welcome you to explore North Carolina's southernmost county, Brunswick County. Brunswick County is located in the southeastern corner of the state in the coastal plains region. Forming a natural boundary on the southeast, the Atlantic Ocean gives the County approximately 47 miles of beach front. It is the third largest county in the state.

Brunswick County is proud of the industries that have located here. More than sixty industries including DAK, Progress Energy (CP&L), Victualic Company of America, Rampage Yachts, Archer Daniels Midland Company and Tri-Tech call Brunswick County home.

Five industrial parks offer a variety of opportunities for new and relocating enterprises in Brunswick County. These parks include: Leland Industrial Park in Leland, Lincoln Industrial Park in Belville, Southport-Oak Island Business Park located near Southport, Shallotte Industrial Park in Shallotte and the Calabash Business Park in Calabash. All of these parks have sewer and water, some have natural gas.

It is our mission to encourage and promote the development of new business and in-dustry, agribusiness, seafood products, tourism, recreational and retirement areas in all parts of Brunswick County.

Today, Brunswick County has a balanced economy based on industry, tourism, agriculture and fishing. Yet, Brunswick County has ample opportunity and resources for considerable expansion of all phases of its economy.
