In a letter dated September 21, 2004, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff issued correspondence regarding security plan provisions for enhanced Owner Controlled Area (OCA) surveillance and response. The proposed Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP) Physical Security Plan, originally submitted to the NRC in a letter dated April 28, 2004 (PY-CEI/NRR-2797L), and most recently revised in a letter dated September 9, 2004 (PY-CEI/NRR-2828L), has now been modified to incorporate these enhanced OCA provisions. Changes to the Plan were also made based on requests from the NRC staff in several telephone conference calls. The revised pages are attached to this letter for NRC review, and supersede any corresponding pages previously submitted.
In accordance with 10CFR73.2 1, the attachment to this letter has been determined to contain Safeguards Information, and is thereby exempt from public disclosure.
