Dear Sir or Madam:
Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station's (PNPS) above referenced letters (References 4-7) provided Entergy's combined responses to NRC requests for additional information on the April 29, 2004 Security Plan (Reference 9) submitted as required by Order EA-03-086. As committed in each of those submittals, this letter provides the revised Security Plan documents on CD ROM that incorporate all of our required RAI responses by September 9, 2004.
In order to standardize our fleet approach with the NRC-approved industry approach, Entergy's responses to Order EA-03-086 and requests for additional information were strictly based on NEI-03-12, 'Template for the Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan" Revision 1 and subsequent guidance provided by NEI and approved by the NRC staff. Editorial corrections were made where appropriate that were consistent with NRC guidance dated August 12, 2004; the sections affected are listed in Attachment 1.
This letter includes no new commitments.
As requested, the attachment to this letter is being transmitted on CD-ROM.
