Revision to Proposed Physical Security Plan for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 (TAC No. MC2912)
Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an Order dated April 29, 2003, requiring compliance with the revised design basis threat ("Order EA-03-086" or "Order") and other security related Orders (collectively "Orders") for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS), Unit 1. By letter dated April 29, 2004, the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) provided a supplement (letter Serial Number 3051) to the previously submitted responses to Order EA-03-086 for the DBNPS. Included in that submittal was a proposed revision to the DBNPS Physical Security Plan (PSP) as required by the Order.
The review of the draft DBNPS PSP by the NRC staff resulted in several Requests for Additional Information (RAls). The proposed revision to the DBNPS PSP has now been modified to incorporate changes based on the resolution of the RAI issues and is included with this letter as.
In accordance with 1 OCFR 73.21, Attachment I to this document has been determined to contain Safeguards Information, and is thereby exempt from public disclosure. If there are any questions concerning this matter, please contact Mr. David R. Kline, Manager-Security, at 419-249-2322.
