Response to Request for Additional Information on the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Physical Security Plan (TAC No. MC2912)
Ladies and Gentlemen:
On August 16, 2004, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) provided a response to issues contained in a Request for Additional Information (RAI) from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. The subject of the RAI was the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Physical Security Plan submitted to the NRC in a letter dated April 29, 2004 (Serial Number 3051).
Several issues were identified in that response as still being industry open items. Those issues have now been resolved; therefore the responses for those remaining items, as well as several clarifications for previously addressed items are provided in Attachment 1 to this letter.
