DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY (TAC NOS. MA7407, MA7450, AND MA7483)
Dear Mr. Skolds:
By letter dated January 15, 2003, I conveyed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs disagreement with AmerGen (licensee of the above-listed nuclear plants) regarding interpretation of 10 CFR 50.30(b) concerning delegation of a licensees signature authority. By letter dated February 6, 2003, you responded to my letter.
This is to acknowledge receipt of your February 6, 2003, letter which sets forth your plan to comply with 10 CFR 50.30(b) for future amendment applications. Your letter and attached corporate resolution also indicated that AmerGen has endorsed and adopted past amendment applications. The NRC staff will, therefore, take appropriate remedial measures to ratify the records in its recordkeeping system ADAMS.
