By Reference 1, the NRC denied GE's request to withhold from public disclosure the Grand Gulf Safety Analysis Report for Thermal Power Optimization (TSAR)

NEDC-33048P, Revision 0, and its related errata and addenda (E&A). Entergy Operations, Inc (EOI) submitted the TSAR and E&As to the NRC by References 2, 3 and

4. The TSAR and related E&As were provided to support a requested license application by EOI and were not submitted in a rule making proceeding. GE hereby requests, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(c), that the referenced Grand Gulf TSAR and related E&As be withdrawn.

GE provided EOI with a revision of the TSAR, which incorporates the E&As and revises the identification of the proprietary information in the TSAR, as well as revising the basis for the proprietary protection. The proprietary information is protected by a simple redaction as requested by your letter (Reference 1). In order to simplify the NRC review, no other changes to the TSAR were made, and the revised TSAR replaces the original TSAR in total. EOI has submitted the revised TSAR by Reference 5 to support its license application.
