SUMMARY

The FitzPatrick plant - with the exception of minor derates for rod adjustments - operated at or near rated power during the month of January 2002 except for the following:

January 7, 2002 - 0748 The plant commenced a load reduction to support a control rod sequence exchange and troubleshooting of a minor shell leak in the '6B' feedwater heater. Power was reduced to approximately 75% and the control rod manipulations began at 0813. Following the completion of the scheduled activities, power ascension began at 2032. Full power was achieved at 1555 on February 8. The total duration of the load reduction was approximately 32 hours3.703704e-4 days <br />0.00889 hours <br />5.291005e-5 weeks <br />1.2176e-5 months <br /> and 7 minutes.
