Independent Inspection (Units lA, 2A)

The inspector toured the site and inspected the physical storage of safety-related electric motors in warehouse AKI.

The motors were observed to have heat applied to the windings, lubricant on the bearings, and barriers applied to the openings.

Motors for which deficiencies had been discovered during receiving inspection had

" HOLD" tags attached, and Quality Control Investigation Reports (QCIR)

had been initiated per TVA Construction Engineering Procedure (CEP)

15.01.

Within the areas inspected, there were no items of noncompliance or deviation observed.
