Keppler dtd June 24, 1983 Gentlemen: This letter acknowledges your letter dated June 24, 1983, requesting concur-rence in your plans for lifting Stop Work Order 016 on electrical conduit installation. Based on our continuing review and site inspection on July 26-27, 1983, we have determined that you have accomplished specific prerequisites outlined in References 1, 2, and 4.
Based on our review and inspection, we concur in your lifting Stop Work 016. Results of your efforts pertaining to Reference 3 have been reviewed, are satisfactory and will be documented in Inspection Report 50-461/83-12.
It is our understanding that for all seismic Category I conduits, you will rework and reinspect as necessary all vaulted conduit travelers that were not part of Phases I, II, and III of the Stop Work 016 Recovery Plan. Those 367 conduits originally included in Phase IV of the Recovery Plan have been incor-porated into the Level III scheduling system and will be routinely inspected when required.

JUL 2 9.1983 As discussed at the exit meeting on July 27, 1983, it is our understanding that-you have completed, but not documented, your comparison of conduit installation - job. instructions, and QC instructions and checklists with appropriate QA'verifi-cation. checklists and specifications to assure that the installer, QC inspector and QA inspector use compatible requirements tolerances and acceptance . criteria.. When you have documented _the results, please forward them to our resident-inspector for review.
