SUBJECT:
COMANCHE PEAK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2, NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT 05000445/2017404 AND 05000446/2017404
Dear Mr. Peters:
On November 16, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2. The NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. J. Dreyfuss, Plant Manager, and other members of your staff. The inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.
The NRC inspectors did not identify any finding or violation of more than minor significance.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding, of the NRC's "Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of ADAMS.
ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
However, the enclosed report contains Security-Related Information, so the enclosed report will not be made publically available in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1). If you choose to provide a response that contains Security-Related Information, please mark your entire response "Security-Related Information-Withhold from Public Disclosure Under 10 CFR 2.390" in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1) and follow the instructions for withholding in 10 CFR 2.390(b)(1). The NRC is waiving the affidavit requirements for your response in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(b)(1)(ii).
