During the week of November 16, 1992, the NRC administered initial examinations to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to operate Nine Mile Point Unit 2.
The licensed operator training program is one of the key elements that ensures the continued health and safety of the public. We are pleased to note your staff had no comments on the written examinations that were administered.
This reflects highly on the quality of the preexamination review conducted by your staff.
Section 3.0 of the enclosed report contains additional details of the NRC Examiners's findings and conclusions.
The test results indicate the applicants were well prepared for the examinations.
Your staff was cooperative and helpful during the examination preparation and development.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
