Areas Inspected:
This routine unannounced inspection by a region-based inspector, examined the following portions of the licensee's physical security program:
Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Security Organization; Physical Barriers-Vital Areas; Security System Power Supply; Access Control-Personnel; Alarm Stations; Security Training and Qualification Plan; and Follow-up on Events, Inspector Identified Problems, Violations, and Generic Letters.
During this inspection, portions of Inspection 9 'ocedures 30703, 81018, 81022. 81054, 81058, 81070, 81084, 81501, 92700, 92N1, and 92702 were used.

Results:
In the areas inspected, the licensee's security program appeared adequate to accomplish their security objecthe.
The licensee was found to be
ni compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during this inspection, except for one non-cited violation in the area of compensatory

measures (Inspection Report Details, Paragraph 2.d.).
This non-cited violation involved the licensee's discovery of a contract security officer posted at a compensatory security post without required security equipment.
Follow-up areas identified for special management attention included:

Licensee initiatives to correct weaknesses were identified as follows:
Upgrade to protected area lighting (Inspection Report Details, paragraph 3.f.); upgrade to protected area assessment aids-(Inspection Report Details, paragraph 3.g.); improvements in security training as demonstrated by increased proficiency in security officer firearms qualificetion (Inspection Report Details, paragraph 3.k.); and improved procedures fer searching packages entering the protected area (Inspection Report Details, paragraph 3. q. ),
