. Inspection on October 29 through November 8, 1990 (Repott No. 50-331/90021(DRSS))
Areas Inspected:~koutine, unannounced physical security inspection involving:
~
Management Support and Effectiveness; Protected and Vital Area Barriers, Detection and Assessment; Protected and Vital Area Access Controls; Compensatory Measures; Personnel Training and Qualifications and review of previous inspection findings. A management meeting was held on November 8, 1990 to discuss.the result of a recent inspection.
.
_Re sult s:.The licensee was found'to be in compliance with NRC requirements in the areas examined.
Four previously identified items were reviewed and closed.-
The licensee's protected area alarm system, barriers, and CCTV upgrade projects were completed.
Inspection results.showed these systems to he adequately installed and effectively utilizeo to meet regulatoiy requirements.
In addition, an individual.was hired to augment security training, and a shift
. lieutenant was assigned Fitness-For-Duty adrainistrative responsibilities to-
,
assist security management.
The licensee's performance meets regulatory requirements and the security-program is adequately being implemented and managed.
