Dear Mr. Waldrep:

On September 18, 2008, the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a team inspection at your Brunswick Nuclear Plant. The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed with Ben Waldrep and other members of your staff on September 18, 2008.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your licenses as they relate to the implementation of B.5.b Phase 2 and 3 mitigating strategies, your compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations, and with the conditions of your operating licenses. Within these areas, the inspection involved examination of selected procedures and representative records, observation of activities, and interviews with station personnel.

This report documents no findings of significance.
