Review of 0 erations The inspector conducted a review of operations.
This review consisted of direct observation of activities, verification of limiting conditions for operations, tours of the facility, and review of records.
The following is a summary of the inspector's activities:

Records The inspector conducted a review of the licensee's records and document control.
Included were checks of storage, retrieval, and issuance of documents.
Selected prints in working files were verified by the inspector as being the current effective revisions.
The inspector noted that the C&I Section files contained a series of vendor prints that appeared to be current but which did not contain a document control stamp.
When this was brought to the attention of the licensee it was determined this was an old set of prints from early construction days which were no longer needed.
The prints were then destroyed.
No items of noncompliance were noted.

Desi n Chan es and Maintenance Activities The inspector observed the design change being made to the waste gas vent header drain trap (RFC-12-1328).
The change was being controlled using Special Procedure 036.
The change was being made to prevent unintentional gas releases that had occurred due to defective drain trap operation and operator errors.
The inspector observed gob preparation, inspection, work performance and the completed installation.
No items of noncompliance were observed.
