Cor orate Meetin This meeting between corporate management of American Electric Power Services Corporation and Region III representatives was held for the purpose of discussing recent operating problems at the D.C. Cook nuclear plants.

Topics of discussion focused on the management control items identified in correspondence to AEP from N. Moseley dated August 16, 1978.

These matters dealt with the need for improvement in management controls related to corporate involvement in problem identification and resolution, operational and maintenance controls for safety related equipment, d

identification and labeling of equipment, and supervision an audit of plant operations.

Messrs. Tillinghast and Dolan indicated an awareness of the problems and stated that corrective actions are being taken to improve plant controls and operations.
