regulatory performance was presented in each functional area. Perform 3nce
in each functional area was found to be acceptable with an improving uend
noted in o Wrall regulatory performance. The performance rating improved
in the arsas of/ Radiological Controls and Fire Protection.
The licensee
continues to have a high level of performance in the areas of Plant
Operations, Maintenance, Emergency Preparedness, Security, Outages and
Licensing Activities. We continue to rate Monticello's regulatory performance
as one of the'best in Region III.

While this meetiIg was primarily a discussion between the licensee and the
NRC, it was open to members of the public as observers.
