Insoection Summary:

Insoection on April 9-13, F79 (Recort Nos. 50-245/79 08 and 50-336/79-01)

Areas Inspected:

Routine, Jnannounced inspection by regional based inspectors of licensee's security program to include the implementation of 10 CFR 73.55 in the following areas:

Security Plan, Security Program Audit, Security Organi-zation, Physical Barriers (Protected and Vital Areas), Lighting, Access Control (Identification, Authorization, Badging, Search, Escorting and Vital Areas),

Alarm Stations, Detection Aids, Assessment Aids, Comunications, Testing and Maintenance, Compensatory Measures, Power Supply, Response, Locks-Keys and Com-binations, Records and Reports.

The inspection involved 62 inspector-hours on site by two NRC regional based inspectors, and was initiated off shift.

Results:

Of the nineteen areas inspected, no apparent items of noncompliance were identified in eighteen areas.

In the area of Access Control (Badging)

an infraction was identified in that badges were not being properly controlled, (.79-CS-01 and 79-08-01) Paragraphs 8. and 21.
