Cook Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 REQUEST FOR RENEWAL OF QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM APPROVAL FOR RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL PACKAGES NO. 0377 In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 71, Subpart H, this letter provides Indiana Michigan Power Company's request for renewal of Quality Assurance Program Approval No. 0377 applicable to the radioactive waste packaging and shipping activities at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant (CNP). The current approval expires on June 30, 2015.

The CNP Updated Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD), which satisfies the applicable criteria of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, will continue to be applied to radioactive waste packaging and shipping activities at CNP pursuant to 10 CFR 71.101(f). The QAPD was most recently revised in October 2014, and is referenced in the CNP Updated Final Safety Analysis Report, Section 1.7.

The requirements of our quality assurance program regarding radioactive waste packaging and shipping have been implemented via plant procedures. Contractors performing on-site radioactive waste packaging and shipping activities are, and will continue to be, required to comply with all applicable 10 CFR 71, Subpart H, quality assurance requirements.
