Dear Sir:
Florida Power Corporation (FPC), doing business as Progress Energy Florida, Inc., hereby withdraws License Amendment Request (LAR) #310, Revision 0, in its entirety. The proposed LAR (Reference) was submitted to modify the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) Improved Technical Specifications by adopting TSTF-490, Revision 0, "Deletion of E Bar Definition and Revision to RCS Specific Activity Technical Specification."
FPC intends to resubmit a LAR based on TSTF-490, Revision 0, after receipt of the NRC approved License Amendment for CR-3 Extended Power Uprate (EPU).
The EPU LAR is scheduled to be submitted to the NRC in September 2009.
This correspondence contains no new regulatory commitments.
