SUBJECT:

License Amendment Request Supplemental Adoption of Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)-422, Revision 2 Change in Technical Specifications End States (CE NPSD-1186)

Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 Docket No. 50-368 License No. NPF-6

Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter dated March 26, 2013 (Reference 1), Entergy requested adoption of Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)-422, Revision 2, for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 (ANO-2).

The marked-up and revised TS pages submitted in support of TSTF-422 adoption included proposed TS changes supporting adoption of TSTF-500, Revision 2, DC Electrical Rewrite -

Update to TSTF-360, which had been previously submitted for NRC review.

An Entergy response to an NRC Request for Additional Information (RAI) associated with adoption of TSTF-500 (Reference 7) resulted in a change to a TS page common to both the TSTF-500 and TSTF-422 amendment requests. Therefore, TSTF-422 related ANO-2 TS Page 3/4 8-8 mark-up and revised (clean) replacement pages are included in Attachments 1 and 2 of this letter, respectively, which incorporate the changes to this page made in response to Question 2 of the subject TSTF-500 RAI (Reference 7).

With respect to the original Entergy request (Reference 1), changes included in this letter have been evaluated and Entergy has determined that the changes do not invalidate the assessment of the no significant hazards consideration included in the reference letter, nor affect the applicability and acceptability of ANO-2 adoption of TSTF-422.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of this response is being provided to the designated Arkansas state official.

No new commitments have been identified in this letter.

2CAN101401 Page 2 of 3 If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Stephenie Pyle at 479-858-4704.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
