PPP-54 REPORT /,BLE OCCl!RRE!!CE NO 82-09 In accordance with Rancho Seco Nuclear Generatina Station Technical Specifications sections 6.9.4.1.c and 6.9.4.1.i and Regulatory Guide 1.16 section C.2.a.3 and C.2.a.9, the Sacramento f1unicipal litility District hereby submits the followine 14-day fol'owup to Licentee Event Report number 82-09.

On April 5, 1982, results of radiographic and ultrasonic inspections revealed unacceptable conditions on Hich Pressure Injection Nozzles for the "A" and "B" injection lines. These results are presented in Attachment I (which is a duplicate of the attachment included in our 24-hour notification letter to your office dated Anril 6,1982).

Two Nonconformance Peports were cenerated, one for each nozzle. These reports were then reviewed by the SMUD engineering staff and dispositioned for corrective actions. Attachments II and III provide the corrective actions for the "A" and "B" nozzles, respectively, and give the current status of the repair vork. A followup to this report will be generated at the completion of the repairs.

There were no transients associated with this event nor was plant or public safety affected.
