NASA RESPONSE TO U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION STAFF COMMENTS ON FINAL STATUS SURVEY REPORT, ATTACHMENTS 1 THROUGH 5, FOR THE PLUM BROOK REACTOR FACILITY

Dear Mr. Peecook:

On October 25, 2010, NASA submitted responses (ML102990335) to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) comments (ML102640526) on NASA's Final Status Survey Report (FSSR), Attachments 1 through 5 for the Plum Brook Reactor Facility. On October 27, 2010, NASA also submitted revisions (ML103060339) to FSSR Attachments 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 based on NRC staff comments.

NRC has reviewed NASA's comment responses and FSSR revisions, as noted above, and has determined that NASA has adequately addressed NRC's comments. At this time, NRC has no further comments on NASA FSSR, Attachments 1 through 6, for the Plum Brook Reactor Facility.
