Releasesfromtheturbineroomsumpwillberegulated bysection4.2.3.2oftheODCM.TheexistingT/Scallsfortheimmediate restoration oftheconcentration towithinthelimitsof10CFR20,AppendixBgTableII,Column2,ifthoselimitsareexceeded.
Essentially, thismeansthateitherthereleasemustbeterminated ordilutionflowmustbeadded.Neitheroftheseoperations canbeaccomplished withthedischarge throughtheturbineroomsump.Therefore, theT/Swaschangedtoreflecttheactionthatwouldbetakenifalimitwasexceeded.
Administrative controlsareinplace,viacontrolled procedures, toensuretheradioisotope concentrations remainwithinthelimitsof10CFR20duringreleases.
Ouroperating historyofthisreleasepointprovidesassurance thattheadministrative controlswillbeeffective inmaintaining releaseswithinthelimits.
