Since the calibration of the rams used in the surveillance test is suspected to be the primary contributor to the lif t-off force anomaly, additional effort will be made to ensure that the calibration is properly performed using approved procedures. Post-surveillance calibration vill be performed and lif t-off data verified prior to the completion of the contract.

To resolve possible discrepancies in documented tendon installation, visual inspections are planned to verify QC records on all tendons which will be tested in Spring of 1981.

Anomalies in lif t-off forces and discrepancies in visual inspections found during the Spring of 1981 surveillance will be evaluated and pro =ptly resolved. The sample size will be appropriately expanded as a result of the evaluation.
