Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.59(c)(1), Georgia Power Company hereby requests a change to the Technical Specifications (Appendix A to the Operating License) for both Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2.

The proposed change would increase minimum shift crew composition requirements as shown in Table 6.2.2-1 for both units. These revised minimum requirements are required by NUREG-0737.

The Plant Review Board and Safety Review Board have reviewed and approved the proposed change and determined that it does not involve an unreviewed safety question. Since minimum shift crew requirements are increased in all cases, margins of safety are not decreased.

Included with the proposed changes is a determination of amendment class and appropriate payment.
