SUMMARY

Unit 2 began the month of August 2003 at 100% of rated thermal power (RTP).

On August lb at 22:03 hours, reactor power was reduced from 99.9% to 20% for repairs to the stator water cooling system.

On August 2'u at 04:01 hours, the main turbine was tripped.

On August 3m at 07:00 hours, the main generator was synchronized to the grid.

On August 5m at 21:11 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

On August 6' at 22:01 hours, reactor power was reduced from 98.6% RTP to 52.0% RTP for rod pattern adjustments.

On August 9" at 10:14 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

Unit 2 ended the month of August 2003 at 100% RTP.
